Hello and welcome to our home! We are a couple in our early-thirties. This is our first home together and we have been living here since 2018. We went with a classic wooden, bright & airy theme for the house to keep it timeless for years to come :) This is a corner unit HDB Maisonette with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We've kept the original layout with 1 bedroom on the lower floor and 3 bedrooms on the upper floor. The living room is right beside the balcony and we love the amount of sunlight that comes in during the day. We kept the original open concept kitchen and layout, adding stools at the peninsula for us to have breakfast at. Our dining room consists of a 2m table with a long bench on the other end, a gallery wall and a sideboard. Right beside the dining room is a room which we've converted into a hobby/projector room. The room has been painted a dark colour on the walls and ceilings, complimented with blackout curtains for a cozy vibe. The husband's Lego and figurine collections are being displayed here. We also have a massage chair and a fold-out queen sized sofa-bed. For all rooms in the house except for the master bedroom, we went with loose furniture instead of built-ins to keep the spaces flexible. Moving upstairs to the rest of the rooms. We went with a statement light and placed some photos along the ledge. We added a glass cut-out to bring some light into the stairway. As we both work from home full-time, we allocated one room as the home office with our own setup at each side of the room. Common bathroom on the upper floor. Master bathroom. As the master bedroom was pretty spacious, we decided to allocate part of it as a walk-in wardrobe and could still fit a king-sized bed with two side tables on each end. And this concludes our housewarming, thank you for following along!
