The biggest project in the living room was refreshing the ceramic tiles on the walls. We did a core renovation, focusing on essentials such as the flooring, wall paint, kitchen, and one bathroom. We opted not to have any built-in cabinets. Apart from budget considerations, we also wanted more flexibility in rearranging our belongings. We enjoy refreshing the furniture layout, and we're not sure if the built-ins we might have created would still suit our preferences 5-10 years down the road. Styles change, trends evolve, and our needs change too. The original living room. There were many missing ceramic tiles at the bottom, so we covered them with a partition. This partition also serves the purpose of concealing the TV cables. Old becomes new :) what do you think? Idea for creating calm Living spaces. Why do I have such an affinity for the colour white? Well, it's because white has the magical ability to make a room appear spacious. However, white comes in various shades, and if it's too stark, it can make a home feel cold. So, before choosing a colour, we must consider how it complements the flooring and furniture we plan to use. It took me months to decide on the perfect paint colour, and in the end, I settled on "Swiss Coffee" by Benjamin Moore. This shade of white truly transformed the atmosphere, making my home feel warm and inviting. It eliminates harsh glares and creates an illusion of even more space. The furniture arrangement in the living room isn't complete yet. I haven't decided what kind of coffee table to buy yet. So, I'm still searching for the one that suits it best. Incredibly cozy at night
