We kept the bedroom clean and minimal to create a peaceful retreat for restful nights. The built-in storage, left by the previous owner, perfectly complements our Japandi-themed home with its laminate and design. We only made one change—removing the overhead shelves above the bed for a more open feel. The floor-to-ceiling wardrobe offers ample storage space for clothing, bedding, and so much more. We opted to skip the bedframe since the raised platform serves the purpose perfectly. We customized the wardrobe's interior using stackable storage drawers for a tailored solution. We chose blackout curtains to keep the morning sun out, especially on weekends. However, adding a sheer curtain layer would be lovely for enjoying soft afternoon light. We absolutely love the unblocked views from our windows, which extend across all the rooms in the house! Let’s not forget our feline friend’s little bed! Though, it’s rarely used since he prefers snuggling up at the corner of our bed instead. With limited space beside the bed, we chose a vertical bedside lamp to add a cozy ambiance without taking up too much room.
