Welcome to this resort inspired 5-room BTO at GreenFoliage! We styled this living room with a beautiful mix of textures thoughtfully sourced and curated to create a warm and cosy ambience. This was the blank canvas before styling. Our client fell in love with this caramel leather sectional which drives the direction of our design vision for this living room. Resort vibe continues to the dining area which creates a cohesive aesthetic. The original designated dining space. Neutral colours and earthy tones emanate a relax yet sophisticated look. Balancing linear with curve. We paired a round wall shelf with framed art prints. Styling Tip: Opt for a mix of artwork, open shelf, mirror, tapestry to create visual interest! The display items on the shelf can be easily swapped out for a fresh look. BEFORE: Accessorising open shelves the right way takes a lot of work. These are right next to the kitchen so we wanted to incorporate items which are both aesthetic and functional. AFTER: The clever use of a wooden box, clear jars and a large tray serve as storage and were purposely chosen in the right colour scheme to give a perfectly cohesive look with the rest of the display items. Styling Tip: Use a good mix of height, textures, materials and negative spaces to make your display look well balanced and less cluttered. Having an open concept kitchen means that it becomes a part of the larger space with the living and dining area. A harmonious colour palette is essential to establish a visual link where these three spaces seamlessly blend and flow together to create a unified look. There are various options to add colours to a plain wall. For this home, we chose a relatively quick and fuss free solution - A large art print to create a focal point at this dining space! It is imperative that our design flow seamlessly into this open concept kitchen. We had a couple of bar stools customised to reflect the style.
