HomePurrfect Hideaway: A Cat Condo Corner
Welcome to Orenji’s corner! Now 4 years old, he’s outgrown his 2-storey cat condo, so we upgraded to a 4-storey space that gives him room to scratch, climb, play and rest. We wanted to design a cozy, private retreat just for him, while ensuring it blends perfectly with our Japandi-inspired decor. It’s both stylish and practical, with plenty of storage space. 
He can freely come and go from his pet condo. 
Orenji loves to retreat to a high perch where he can watch everything happening below or settle in for an afternoon nap. 
He gets his wet food meals on the 2nd floor of his condo. 
His dry food is automatically dispensed via an app on the first floor. 
We also installed a dehumidifier in the basement, cleverly hidden from view. 
Along with the dehumidifier, the litter box is also discreetly placed in the basement. This provides him with the privacy he needs while using the toilet, while also keeping both the smell and the appearance out of sight. 
We designed this space ourselves and had it built by a carpenter. However, if we had the chance to improve it, we would carefully reconsider the placement of the holes for the cat to climb up and down, as well as how each section could be more interactive for him.
