Welcome to our common / guest bathroom that was designed with zero carpentry or built-ins. When we first got the keys to our resale flat, we decided to remodel the bathroom by hacking the original bathroom door and shifting it from the left to right to make space for the kitchen peninsula. We also had to shift around the locations of the sink and shower area. Because of the remodelling, we were left with a very tight and awkward space for our sink area. As such, we had to source for the tiniest sink (around 60cm length) to fit into this area. We searched high and low and found the perfect sink and vanity cabinet from Taobao :) All of the fittings in the guest bathroom were also sourced from taobao. We have always wanted contrasting colours in our bathroom to separate the wet and dry area and the color theme of our bathroom tiles was actually inspired by a showroom design which fits perfectly with our minimalist scandi home theme. Because of the tight space, we decided against a swing or sliding door and installed a fixed glass panel to separate the wet and dry area in our guest bathroom. Overall we are super satisfied with the new bathroom layout! :)
