We wanted our two bathrooms to have similar yet different looks, with the common one being lighter and the master having darker tones. Both toilets incorporated wood and textural elements. After weeks of tile searching, we were highly pleased with the end results. 
It was instant attraction to our common bathroom wall tiles for the soothing feel and wave-like pattern. Paired with wooden floor tiles and wood elements in the vanity and toilet fittings. 
We kept the common shower area largely with one fixed panel to protect the vanity area from water. The open concept works out well as it gives us more space for general washing or cleaning.
