Welcome to our entryway! This cozy, inviting space is actually an extra recess area that we could purchase as part of our HDB unit. The process was a journey of patience and persistence, with HDB approval taking anywhere from 3 to 6 months. We remember the constant follow-ups, eagerly awaiting the green light. 
This recess area has become something of a love-hate space for us, endless paperwork and waiting, yet it’s now an essential part of our home, setting the warm, natural tone as we step into our home. 
These few steps, they make all the difference elevating the entryway experience and creating a natural flow into the heart of our home. 
We customized a cabinet to hide the electrical meter, giving it a clean and seamless look in our entryway. 
Inside, we added a few cute touches like this adorable cloud postcard and mini figurines to add a playful surprise every time we open it. It's a little hidden corner of joy that makes even the practical things feel special. 
This entryway has truly become a cherished little corner of our home. The extra space, with its warm wooden tones and soft light streaming through the blinds, feels like a private retreat right by the window. Sometimes, we find ourselves just settling here with a coffee, enjoying quiet conversations and taking in the moment. It's more than just an entry, it's a cozy nook that adds character and comfort to our home.
