Welcome to our expansive living room! We've chosen to retain the large living area instead of partitioning a study for an airy living space. 
The viewing distance for our TV is actually a little too far (~5m) for this TV size, but the huge area gives us the flexibility to hang out with Sammy the cat or our other friends that come over! The room feels airy and comfortable even with more friends over. The slightly darker TV wall color gives this area of the living room some visual pop and accentuates the color of our TV console. 
The olive tree resides in our living room and will grow with us as the house ages. 
When selecting a TV console, consider where your electronics and their cables will go. Cable management will help bring your living room aesthetic to the next level! Most drawer knobs are easily changeable, so pick one of your own fancy! We found these cute ceramic knobs while on holiday and love how they look on the console. 
As the sun sets, our living room is bathed in an orange glow. It's our favorite time of the day! 
Accent lights create great ambience after dark. You can choose to leave them on and turn off all other lights while watching TV, or just leave all of them on to enjoy the lights. 
A cat household is not complete with cat decor! Our handmade stoneware cat ring holders feature prominently as we watch TV.
