Hello! These are all 3D drawings from our ID based on our ideas. We wanted a Japandi concept for our house and after a lot of amendments, this is our living room concept. This is also the entrance to our dining area and kitchen .
We wanted to keep the walkway empty, so we told the ID we didn’t want any shelving there. We also sealed up the kitchen entrance and did a panel door for the study :)
This is the entrance, which is supposed to be the dining room of a maisonette. But we decided not to have the dining room here and changed it to be just having a shoe cabinet.
The left side will be where our tables are. We initially wanted to have customed tables but gave up the idea towards the end because we wanted to get OmniDesk!
We turned the study room into an altar / study room. The wall facing the window is where the altar is, with full wall cabinets for our books and files.
We don’t cook much, so our main idea is to have a space where it's easy for us to make drinks and get a quick bite. This is like our bar counter/breakfast counter. Our water dispenser is also located here.
This is originally the service yard. As we are on the top floor and our view is unblocked, we shifted our dining area here. Our laundry area is also here but I think it doesn’t really matter. Being functional and convenient is more important over anything else.
We decided not to have a TV in the bedroom because it really does disrupt sleep - we had it in our previous homes and it’s quite bad when only ONE of us want to watch tv late at night.
This is my younger son’s room, with glass door cabinets for him to display his figurines. In this 3D drawing is a queen size bed and the headboard width is also for a queen size bed. But right now in real life, it’s a super single bed because we needed space for his OmniDesk and TTR racing chair.
This is my older son’s room. Same thing for the headboard design, we have the option to change to a queen size bed and the custom cabinets will not look out of place.
This is the bathroom at level 1. While some people convert it to just a powder room, we opt to still have a shower area, mostly cause of our pets. And also in case age catches up and we can't walk up the stairs. You will never know when you need it.
