    Welcome to my living room! It's just cream and wood colour throughout basically. In fact, the colour scheme kind of runs throughout the entire house except for the guest bathroom/powder room. I had wanted to add some greenery here but I still haven't gotten around to the nursery to check out just yet.

    We do not really have a study per se so I stored all our books in these built-in cabinets together with some other paraphernalia.

    The sofa is from Kings and the handrest could be put all the way down to convert to a day bed. This is where we fall asleep while watching tv. The coffee table is 20+ years old. I had wanted to give it away but since there were no takers I got the carpenter to respray the white part and after refurbishing, it looks as good as new.

    Got these two armchairs from Castlery and they double up as scratching poles for my cat.....

    A side table for candles and scents. A pot of Indian mint by the side so when you need a mint in your tea, just pluck one and drop it in!

    The storage boxes on the shelves under the TV are from Ikea. The top shelf is shallow so the boxes do not fit. I resort to folding the brown paper bags. I think they match perfectly, don't you?

    In these, I stored the socks, the masks, the ang pow packets.... etc. Basically, the things we need before we head out of the house.

    and a little stool from my mum where I sometimes sit on like a perfect ah soh and sometimes I put my incense holder there.... so the smoke doesn't get in my eyes....
