One thing I’ve paid $$$ for that I absolutely DO NOT REGRET in this house as a cat owner.. is IRUSU’S MESHES (mine’s the Latch Series Retractable Screen)✨. We bought this house for the view and we knew very early on we wanted our cats to have the best seat in the house (which is why the cat tower was planned to be placed right by the window). 
And the only way we could feel safe doing so was by having one of the best meshes on the market. We did speak to a few other mesh makers but either they would rush ussss into making payment like RUSH to a point where my ID also felt ??! lol, or they’d be very friendly irl but have terrible customer service online. I don’t really know why. 🙂🙂🙂 Irusu, while the pain point can be that they require full payment upfront before working on the house, was consistent in their service the whole way. 
Overall I paid almost $2.6k for ALMOST the whole house (only didn’t do the cat room because it’s corridor facing and we don’t open the windows there!). It’s been very smooth sailing using it while we’ve been home though. The only hiccup is that our youngest kitten climbs up the mesh like spiderman 🥲 but even so the mesh has held on strong and has no dents so yay! Haha 
Overall I give the mesh 5 ⭐️ because it really hasn’t hindered our view or the air flow, and our minds get to be at peace.
