Recently we did a little makeover on our entryway. It is not complete yet as we still waiting for our shelf to arrive. We keep it simple and practical. Entryway must haves: - Drop zone for bags, keys - Lamp for ambience - Spot to sit - Mirror for final check before heading out and it also visually opens up the space. This is how our entryway look previously. It is functional but somehow it feels cluttered. The built - in shoe rack is not utilise as we placed one outside at the corridor. Hence we decided to remove it and open up the space. This is the view that our guests will see when they come over to our place. First impression matters. We keep it simple and practical by just having a shoe rack and a bench for sitting. We added faux plants as a pop of colour and it creates a cosy vibes to the entryway. We design our own home door plate and putting our cats photo in to make it more personalise.
