Non negotiable for us - less grain, neutral tone and smooth finishes that both complements the marble flooring and our eyes 🤓 
Added a secondary tone to add some depth and contrast to the lighter laminate, in kitchen and main bedroom. This creates a different spatial dimension when you enter various spaces. 
The dry pantry area - it’s a corner on its own within the larger canvas of our storage carpentry. Stainless steel countertop, Kit Kat tiles with gradient and textured so that it pops out.
