Hi Hipvan! We have moved into our humble abode situated centrally at Bencoolen. This home is a family heirloom dating back to the 1960s, passed down through generations. We have rejuvenated the home with a complete makeover at the expense of $80,000 excl. F&F. As young first-time pawrents, we opted for high elements and non-glass fittings to prevent clumsy collisions from our puppy. As finance specialists, we opted for neutral palettes and a farmhouse theme to take us away from the buzzling long hours at work. The dry pantry showcases a beautiful arc backsplash that complements the farmhouse theme and the matte gold sink. The light at the end of valley leads us to this luscious forestry kitchen with a textured backsplash. What is a forest without a bonfire, this is where we feed ourselves with the essence of ingredients in our fridge. We grew up playing with lanterns and decided to have our meals under a wooden weaved tao-bao lantern that probably wouldn't end up in flames. I've brought the Bali inspired designs back for my Husband because he has no money after renovation to take me there. Featuring a meticulously measured niche that can house 5 facial cleansers. We went for terrazzo tiles so that you can't see our 2-year old cavapoo scratch floor marks, but also to add a tinge of contrast and playfulness after a day at the farm. They say visitors only remember the common bathroom so we designed it as soothing as possible with a touch of greenery at the corner. The Unit dates back to the 1960s where floorplans were hand-drawn and not available in soft copy. We re-mapped based off our own measurements.
