Hello everyone 👋🏻 Our 4 room BTO features a light creamy theme, to open up the space and make it feel more airy and bright ⛅️ We love how minimalist it looks!
P/S: The 77k reno cost is inclusive of electricals and lights, but excludes all other furnishing and appliances.
We also hacked down bedroom 3, which makes the whole living room area much more spacious now 😌 We are keeping it empty now for flexibility - it could be used as a mahjong area, workout area, future study desk area, etc. Endless possibilities!
We are still in the midst of purchasing more items to make the living area less bare and cosier 🥰
We were initially contemplating getting the light/dark wood color for the ceiling fan, but no regrets getting white in the end. Love how it blends well with our ceiling color as well as our white speakers 🤩

We also covered our bombshelter and DB box with carpentry. There is also extra storage on the left which acts like a shoe cabinet. We also store other miscellaneous items on the higher shelves, love how everything is hidden out of sight!
The highlight of our home is this huge island (8.5x5ft) which costs us $8k+ on the carpentry and sintered stone. But we really spend majority of our time chilling here (even more than the sofa) so its all worth it 🤭
Here’s a closer look at the coffee bar area which is another highlight. We have our coffee machine and equipment, as well as other accessories, alcohol and display items on the floating ledge above.
Here’s a look at our service yard. We have also hacked the door to extend our kitchen space! We kept the beam on top to save some costs, plus it also helps to block our storage heater from sight.
Last but not least, this is how our study room looks like. We just have 2 desks with our respective computers. There are no built-in here to keep it flexible in case we need to turn it into a kid’s room in future.
We will be sharing more about our reno considerations for other parts of the house and products review next. If you enjoy our content, do follow and also follow us on our other socials (Youtube/lemon8/Tiktok/IG) at the same handle where we post more reno tips and home content! ☺️
