Hello! We are finally here with our house tour of our 4-room resale flat that is creamy and japandi inspired! Starting off with the POV when we enter our home. And this is another POV. We love the soft and cozy look here. Our sofa is in one-piece without any gaps and can double up as a bed too. We have had naps here as it is so comfy! The covers are water resistant and scratch resistant too. We asked our ID to create a partition wall so that cables can be hidden behind for a clean look. Request for floor to ceiling carpentry to make your space look bigger! Carved a niche with curves for us to place some decor pieces. Love our cute pendant lights that we bought from Shopee to give it that japandi feel. Ours is an open kitchen concept as we wanted to make the space bigger. As long as you get a good hood with good suction, you do not have to worry about cooking fumes in the house. When dreams become reality. I’ve always envisioned myself in my dry pantry making coffee or matcha lattes and this has become a reality! Slowly adding decor items on the shelve. Debated about having a built in microwave or not but looking at how neat this is, we have no regrets going for built-in. Well, we shall see how it goes if it breaks down in future. Can never emphasize enough on how convenient it is to have an induction stove instead of gas stove. We can easily wipe down after cooking unlike gas stove where it’s so hard to clean. We do have an awkward beam here but it looks like it is specially meant for our water dispenser. Knew right from the start that we wanted to segregate the service yard and kitchen. This is so that cooking odors will not permeate and make our clothes smelly. Didn’t do any carpentry in the service yard. Bought a rack from Taobao to put some laundry essentials. Requested for additional water point here because we initially wanted a sink here. End up not getting the sink but the water point is still useful for our robot vacuum and water dispenser. The sliding door aka statement piece of the house. Fabricated by a vendor and it gives off the japandi look that we love so much. This is what is behind our sliding doors. We are using it as our work room and the 1.8m long adjustable desks are from Taobao. Cables are still in a mess so hoping to organize it soon to make it look neater. The other common room has 0 furniture and is now used as a storeroom so we’ll skip it. Our MBR where we have had countless nights of good sleep. Niche at the side that you wouldn’t notice when you enter the room. Wanted this so that we can maximize the space inside the L-shape wardrobe. The common bathroom and master bathroom have the same one piece integrated sink. The master bathroom has a half wall and half shower screen. And the shower area is using tiles with a wood design because we wanted to incorporate some wood element and make it different from the common bathroom. Had to top up for curve shower screen but no regrets.
