We recently moved to a new living space bringing most of our old furniture with us. Having familiarity amidst the changes helps us to cope with the transition. This is especially true for young children. 
Having a dedicated space to do written work is non-negotiable for my home. I hated the wooden bedroom door but since it's a rented space, brightening it up with a door handle cover will have to do for now. 
Having rugs in the room keep the space cosy while protecting the parquet floor. 
Plants in the room act as natural air purifiers. This concludes the room tour of my youngest.
