if you ask us, this is the coziest corner of our home. You can often find us here sitting on the sofa or on the cool marble floor looking out to the greenery. The warm beige grey tones of our sofa coupled with the warm yellow lights and white soft curtains billowing in the wind breeze just gives off the cozy vibe. 
this cozy corner also get the most sunlight in the house in the mornings and provides a bright and airy atmosphere. 
and when it rains, we turn on our led strip for some ambience lighting and then snuggle under a blanket on the sofa to enjoy the rain storm. Feeling so blessed to have a home where we want to be. 
sometimes after a hard day's work, we would just sit on the floor and look out at the horizon to reflect and calm the mind. 
even the little ones enjoy this corner and have fun looking out to count the number of cars/ planes or enjoy seeing the slow "river" flow by... 
we do not have a living room coffee table as we wanted more room for our kids to move around on the floor. This sofa side table provides an area for us to put our drinks and snacks while chilling here... 
enjoying a sweet treat while watching tv after the kids are all asleep 
we picked up an ikea kids' rocking chair from the recycling bin and painted it a cheery yellow colour to have a pop of colour in our living room! 
i am so happy when the kids all come out of their bedrooms and gather together in our cozy corner! 
the space in the living room also is catered for special occasions such as Christmas. Our Christmas tree is 2.1m and is a show topper every time Christmas comes around! 
We also managed to make this dead space in the corridor into a cozy nook by putting a triangular display cabinet here where we can put our candle warmer and showcase some knick knacks. Unfortunately I cannot find this triangular display case on the Ikea's website anymore. 
the candle warmer casts a warm glow into the corridor and the scent from the candle can be smelt throughout the corridor. 
Another place of the house that we enjoy being in is in the bath tub! in the day, it provides much entertainment for our kids. They spend alot of time in the tub splashing around imagining themselves to be mermaids or sea animals. In the night, it provides the adults some comforting respite to soak in the bath enjoying some well deserved me time. 
A soak in the bath tub does one's body good! 
A snack and a cool fizzy drinks elevates the bath tub experience! 
There we have it! our cozy corners of our house which are enjoyed by everyone in the family!
