Hello! We are a couple in our late-twenties - I’m a fashion model, host, and content creator and my boyfriend, Chi, is a senior finance analyst in Microsoft. We have been looking forward to making a space our very own for a while now and are so excited to share this home tour with you! Our home is a cozy 2-bed 2-bath apartment that’s pretty close to town and is surrounded by tons of eateries. We’ve been living here for about 5 months now and still have tons of places to try! Since this place is a rental, we weren’t able to make any changes to the existing structures so we had full creative freedom in what pieces of furniture we’d like to decorate our place with to create the vibe we wanted. 
Our house is about 840 sqft which is quite a comfortable size for the two of us. Our biggest priority was finding ways to make this space the most functional it could be by maximizing the usage of the space we have. 
Our entryway is a cozy mini-hallway that opens up into the main living area. We wanted to keep this space as clean and functional as possible, so we were so happy when we came across this shoe cabinet bench! It’s the perfect solution to storing shoes while providing those who enter/exit our place a space to sit when putting on their shoes - no one likes to be struggling to put on their shoes while standing! 
The full-length mirror is also a feature I love that allows for us to quickly check our outfits (and take some ootd’s) before heading out. 
Our living room is one of our favorite places in the house. We absolutely love this color palette of warm and earthy tones to create a calm, cozy and relaxing space.

Our sofa is a soft leather sofa that Chi fell in love with (the scratch-proof feature is super important because my sister has an adorable corgi who I plan on cuddling on the couch with lots when dogsitting). I also absolutely love our nesting coffee table, each of which has a secret storage space as well. The glass top was a feature we added ourselves and I love how it adds a different texture to the living room. 
Our kitchen is a humble and small one, which honestly worked fine for us because neither of us are heavy cookers. I particularly love how it’s got a glass window in front of the island to allow for lots of light to come in, but on the occasions where we do cook we’re able to close off the kitchen to control any cooking smells. 
This kitchen island is one of the most utilized spaces in the house - it’s got our tankless water dispenser, sodastream sparkling water maker, and coffee machine. 
On the opposite end is the coolest cooking equipment ever for inexperienced cooks like myself - it’s a NinajaShark Multicooker and it’s got 11 different cooking functions all in one machine that make it so easy to prepare food on the days we’re not out exploring the restaurants around the area. 
Our dining area follows our warm color palette but has some of our home’s most standout pieces. I completely fell in love with this herringbone-designed Cadencia dining table when I saw it at HipVan’s showroom and knew I had to have it. It’s caught the eye of every person that’s visited! The grained wood offers such beautiful detailing but it also worries me that food or sauces may get stuck in it, so I make sure to use a tablecloth and coasters whenever there is food or drinks out. 
Speaking of coasters, we got these Peranaken-inspired coasters on a whim and they add so much character to the dining area that we keep it out on the table all the time! There were so many beautiful designs but these two were my favorites. To fill up the wall, we hung up this art piece that the two of us created together at Motion Art Space a few months ago and to our delight, the colors matched our space perfectly! It’s lovely to have a unique piece of art you created with your own hands in your space and is something I recommend to all my friends! 
We were so happy to have found a 2-bedroom apartment that provided us with the ability to convert the smaller bedroom into a functional office. Of course, we had to get a standing table, but this one is extra special because it’s also got built-in charging ports and a drawer which adds to its functionality. Chi custom-designed this gaming chair with his own color choices and embroidery designs so it’s also incredibly special. It would have been amazing if we could fit two desks in here, but we’re just glad we can have this dedicated space to do work (albeit one at a time). 
The reason why we couldn’t add in a second desk is because I also needed this space to put this dresser of mine that I bought a few years ago and definitely wanted to bring over to this current space. We were lucky enough to be allowed to mount a wall cabinet above to utilize the vertical space we have as well. We’re still in the process of hanging up some pictures from our university graduations but we are loving how our office looks so far. 
Our place has two bathrooms, which I love because I feel it’s always more comfortable for guests to have their own bathroom to use when visiting. I particularly loved this common bathroom because of how spacious the shower is (although the baywindow is something I could live without) because when my sisters come by to use the pool downstairs, I want to make sure they have a nice space to freshen up afterwards. 
Our master bedroom is slightly on the smaller side, and because of the baywindow on the left side of the room we weren’t able to fit a bedside table on that side of the bed, leaving us with just the one bedside table on the right. I fell in love with the wood finishing of our bedframe and was so happy with the matching bedside table too. 
There are two baywindows in this master bedroom, so the biggest challenge was finding a way to make this extra space functional. I made a little faux-bedside table using one end of the baywindow, and on the other is my vanity table. I found the perfect little tabletop vanity that fits this space so perfectly, this might be one of my favorite areas in the whole space. 
For the other baywindow, I added a short cabinet up top and created a walk-in wardrobe of sorts to make use of this space. 
And here we’ve come to the final part of the flat - the master bathroom. There are a couple things here that I love - the size of the shower is massive which makes getting ready super comfortable, and the ginormous mirror covers the entire wall but also opens up to reveal a TON of storage - perfect for my skincare addiction! 
I also got so lucky that this shelf I purchased a few years back fit this corner perfectly (I didn’t measure it before placing it here). This was a great way for us to make use of the vertical space in the bathroom as well for miscellaneous bathroom storage. 
We got so lucky that our space has a huge balcony outside the living room. While some might think it’s cutting into the usable indoor space, we loved having this outdoor area to host our friends and enjoy a coffee on a sunny, breezy day. 
Since it rains so much in Singapore, we had to make sure our outdoor furniture was weather-proof. This outdoor set we found was on sale at such a good deal so we had to nab it, and the cocoon swing chair is also *chef’s kiss* in terms of aesthetics and comfort! 
Our favorite piece out here has to be this Keter Cooler Bar, which at first glance looks like a normal side table, but lift up the top and VOILA it’s actually a hidden cooler bar that can hold up to 40 cans! The perfect party piece. It took us 2 months to find this piece and eventually snagged it off Carousell, so unfortunately I don’t have a link for this. 
We don’t have a garden just yet, but adding in some plants right here to sway in the wind is definitely on our to-do list. 
This whole process of procuring the pieces for our very own place was such a fun, fulfilling project and I’m so in love with how the space turned out. It’s cozy, warm and has elements from both myself and Chi that makes this whole space so special. I literally can’t wait to come home at the end of every day.
