🚨 We thought our fabric furniture was clean... until we saw THIS!! 🤢

One thing we have learnt as new homeowners is that keeping your home looking clean does not always mean it is actually clean. We always try our best to take care of our furniture. During housewarming gatherings, we place a protective cloth over our sofa, use seat covers for all our fabric dining chairs, vacuum our carpet every few days with a handheld vacuum and run our Dreame robot regularly. Because of that, we genuinely thought our fabric furniture and carpet were pretty clean. 
Since we had only moved in about 5 months ago, we definitely did not expect them to be THAT dirty. 
When we finally gave our fabric furniture and carpet a proper deep clean with the Hoover CleanSlate from HipVan... we were honestly shocked 😭 The water turned into this gross green, sludgy mess and you could literally see all the dirt that had been trapped deep inside the fabric. Now we totally understand why this is always sold out on Hipvan!! 😂 It comes with all the accessories (solution, brush etc) that we need to deep clean our carpet, fabric sofa, dining chairs and other upholstered furniture. Best of all, we can do the occasional deep cleaning ourselves and save on the cost of engaging professional cleaners! More importantly, it made us realise that regular vacuuming only removes what is on the surface. Over time, fine dust, sweat, spills and everyday grime can slowly build up deep within the fabric without us even noticing. Honestly, this has become one of our favourite home maintenance purchases. It is one of those things we never knew we needed until we actually used it and we can definitely see ourselves using it for years to come. So if you have fabric furniture at home, do not forget to give it a proper deep clean every now and then. You might be just as surprised as we were 😂
