We spent more than $10k on doors?!
13385
First and foremost, the most expensive door we have which is now the statement piece of the house. Our ID got his vendor to fabricate this $5k door that we have no regrets because it gives off the Japanese vibes that we wanted! Another angle of the sliding door. Acrylic panels are used because we wanted some privacy plus it is lighter than glass so the door doesn’t feel that heavy. We got 0mm louvre doors for both bathrooms. This means there are no gaps between the louvre. Having gaps might mean that smells could leak out when you are doing your business. For the master bedroom and common room, the door vendor had a range of laminates to choose from and we chose this wooden grain that was closest to the carpentry laminates. Our main door is from the same vendor. We originally wanted to retain the existing HDB door but are glad that we made the decision to change it. The main door is the first touch point when you reach home and you will want to go home to a nice looking door right? Last but not least, the synchronized sliding doors for our service yard. We changed out the bi-fold doors to these synchronized doors simply because the service yard is a small area and we didn’t want the bi-fold doors to be in our way.
