After going through 11 interior designer meetings, we learnt that the comparison stage can be confusing and time-consuming — but there’s a smart way to do it. 
1. Don’t Compare Quotes at Face Value 💸 Two similar-looking quotes can differ vastly in what’s included. Some omit details like electrical work or carpentry finishes, which adds up later. Always clarify what’s covered. 
2. Give Each ID 2–3 Sessions ⏳ It takes a few rounds to see how they think, communicate, and translate your brief into tangible ideas. 
3. No one nails the brief the first time 💬 And that’s okay — what matters more is how they respond after you give feedback. Check out our previous post on some mindset shifts we adopted!
