We finally decided to change our toilet bowl. To be honest, our original BTO toilet was actually pretty decent—the flush was strong and everything was still in good shape, which is why we didn’t change it during our renovations.
Butttt after living with it for a year++, we realized that cleaning all those crevices was such a chore—every! single! time! (And let’s not even start on the mould that loves to hide there.)
why we don’t like the existing toilet bowl:
👎🏼 separate cistern (tank) + bowl (dirt/ mould can get stuck in between)
👎🏼 more edges, curves, crevices (tbh a hassle to clean)
👎🏼 tap beside the flush button- not pictured
(water automatically comes out when we flush, tbh very redundant, we don’t even use it 😅)
Sorry, bad picture because i realize i dont have the full picture of the original BTO's toliet bowl! But its typical BTO toliet- the one with the tap beside the flush button, iykwim. 😂
That’s why we switched to a rimless and one piece toilet bowl: it’s much easier to clean, saving us time and effort while keeping things hygienic and fuss-free.
Price: $700 for 2 toilet bowls. CDC vouchers can also be used!
(purchased in 2025, price may vary)
