Warm Woods, Sunlight & Soft Tones — Our Home Decor for Living

Today we’re sharing a bit about the home decor in our living area 🌿 It’s the heart of our home — and we wanted it to feel fresh, cozy, and calm. 
We added a touch of greenery (because plants just have that magic to lift a space), layered with woody tones and soft finishes that bring warmth and texture.. 
And we’re really lucky that our living room gets plenty of natural sunlight, which is a big plus (especially for our plants 🌞) 
And yes — we did bring over our bold red side table from our previous house. It’s a small pop of colour in the middle of all the neutrals, but we actually love how it adds just a bit of contrast without overpowering the calm. 
For lighting, we kept it simple and intentional — using only warm white lights throughout the house. Warm lighting gives the room a cozy glow, especially in the night, and works beautifully with the wood elements and greenery. 
Of course, with kids around, we also added a few cute touches just for them — little pieces that make them feel like this space is theirs too. But yes… colour-wise, I’m still quite particular 😅 So everything had to stay within a natural, earthy palette — soft beiges, browns, and off-whites only, hehe. In the end, it’s a space that feels calm, warm, and full of personality — a place where everyone feels like they belong.
