Vanity Area: A Minimalist Corner for Stillness

Welcome to my vanity area! The drawer holds the essentials: skincare and makeup tools — nothing more than what I use daily. I’ve found that having fewer items in sight makes the space feel lighter and more functional. There’s intention in everything that stays on the tabletop. The mirror sits just where the natural light hits in the morning, creating the perfect setting for a slow start to the day. The mood changes with the time of day, but it always feels like mine. 
This corner came to life by extending our wardrobe into an L-shape. It created just enough room for a quiet little vanity which reminds me that comfort can be created 
A small linen pouf and soft wood tones help add warmth to the setup. I chose finishes and materials that echo the rest of the home’s palette — muted, soft, and easy on the eyes. It’s not just a spot to get ready, but one that encourages pause.
