Renovating an original 1998 old apartment on a tight budget
Took a risk to go against norm and we love it!

We didn’t knew we wanted this until a friend who is a material geek / interior trend forecaster recommended us to try this. 
The leftover slabs of the table top upcycled into a wall sconce so that the color will match the space. Very demure, very considerate to the environment , and very unique but also very convenient cos we too lazy to hunt for other lamps to compliment the space, this one confirm will work cos it’s the same material 😅😅😅 
So red is ours and white is taken by LikeLights. They paid 20% of the slab price which lightens or bill (punt intended) that’s why I say lucky to meet someone who willing to do that to defray our cost 
The dining table material also shared with them and they made this beautiful light from our leftover.
