Welcome to the kitchen organisation tour with @__madeofpebbles! Our galley kitchen allows most storage within the same place but we also added a stand alone for coffee and other open air storage. 
We made a layout plan to determine the layout and drawer height and quantity. As much as we would like to reduce the renovation cost, we want to ensure that the usage of the space is adequate and suitable for our needs. 
We didn't have specific organiser in the drawers for the plates and bowls, just a tetris move for us. And most dinner ware are handmade from our pottery class. 
We did gotten some custom made storage for the cutlery 
We kept the bins (recyclables) underneath the sink, akin to Japanese inspired kitchen set up. We also stored cleaning goods in the same space using pull out drawers. 
The half shelves above the kitchen space are utilised for display items. More photos can be found in our Kitchen Introduction post!
