5 years of homeownership means admitting your past self was a bit clueless. 🙃 Exhibit A: Planning a proper workstation because "I'll just work from the dining table" was a lie that expired years ago. Exhibit B: Paying for extra electrical points now. It’s the most boring but essential upgrade, all because I want a cozy lamp and a vinyl record player setup behind the sofa. Don't skimp on sockets, guys. 🛋️🎚️ 
The Workspace Rebuild: Tearing it all down to build a proper dual-zone setup. 🔨 Zone 1: The Grind. A permanent, dedicated desk for the day job and coding projects. Because moving my desk every single time I need to use the monitor is a daily hassle I am officially done with. 💻❌ Zone 2: The Craft. A dedicated space for 3D printing and handcrafting dioramas. Hands-on creativity needs actual room to breathe (and get messy). 🤖🎨 
My house is very wood-heavy right now, so I'm bringing in some stainless steel industrial contrast to spice things up. First up, a massive living room rug because the floor currently has zero depth or separation. Next, a magnetic panel from mnetic.co so I can display gear without drilling holes (and yes, I will absolutely be 3D printing custom magnetic mounts for it). For the walkway, a Muji stainless steel shelf to catch everyday clutter and reusable bags.
