🏴☠️ The Grand Line of Clean – Our Bathroom Voyage Begins
10829
Every pirate has their ship and for us, this is our little Sunny. Our bathroom may not be the Going Merry, but it’s where we regroup and reset We knew we wanted a space that balanced warmth with calm, so we went for a mix of natural finishes, soft lighting, and functional storage. It’s not the biggest room in the house, but every detail was handpicked with intention a little treasure hidden behind each panel, a lot of heart behind every decision. This is our daily retreat, where even our tiniest crew member (with four legs and a fluffy tail) makes his morning rounds. So here’s a tour of our bathroom, not quite a ship, but definitely our sanctuary. Our vanity area may be small, but we squeezed every inch of function out of it. A slim mirror cabinet gives us hidden storage, while the open shelf beside it became a place for both essentials and little personal touches like our reed diffuser, mini spray bottle, and the trusty Listerine. The floating vanity also helps the space feel more open, with just enough clearance for a tucked-away bin and even our weighing scale. This side of the bathroom looks clean and quiet, but it actually carries a lot of weight. We deliberately kept the colour palette light here so the wall-mounted fixtures like the towel rail, toilet roll holder, and mirrored cabinet could stand out just enough without overwhelming the space. For the shower zone, we knew we wanted two things: no clutter and no wet bottles on the floor. This recessed ledge is one of our favourite parts of the bathroom tucked just right to avoid direct splashes, and finished with a wood trim to match the rest of the theme. Every bottle has its place, and the rain shower? It's our little luxury after long days. The big one’s for winding down, the handheld one’s for getting things done. Minimalist, but definitely not boring. This wood-tiled wall reminds us of the ship deck. Warm, grounding, and weathered in the best way. We chose it to bring a spa-like calm into the space.
