The Bare Room with the Best Seat - the Vanity!

A glance into our place of retreat. 🛏️ We knew we wanted to upgrade to a King sized bed this time, and made sure measurements were right to ensure sufficient space in our bedroom. To our pleasant surprise, after we moved in, we realised we had plenty of walking space! Not expecting this extra space, I didn’t factor in furnishings for the bedroom. But so excited to spruce this space up! 
This bedroom’s light has got to be my favourite. It’s subtly quirky, yet still maintains the scandinavian charm. 
We went with the minimalist look for the carpentry in the master bedroom. We picked matching laminate and handle colours, except the handle design differs. 
The space for the mrs. A vanity table for the daily look and the occasional glam. 
Our ID built storage nooks all the way up! Apart from storing makeup, I plan to display my various bits and bobs - sunglasses, perfumes, Popmart figurines and Lego flowers! 
I’m also a makeup enthusiast, albeit having lesser time to consistently glam up now that I’m a mum. I do still enjoy buying an occasional eye makeup palette. I’ve built quite a collection over the years and they’re proudly displayed through this glass vanity table top. This is a collage of my most aesthetic eye makeup palettes!
