Went down the Taobao rabbit hole for my bathroom, and honestly… no regrets. Found a bib tap, basin mixer, shower bar, and mirror cabinet — all way more affordable than what I was seeing locally, and the quality? Surprisingly solid. The mirror cabinet especially is a win — sleek, minimal, and plenty of hidden storage. The shower bar feels sturdy, not those flimsy types, and the taps have a nice weight to them. Nothing plasticky or cheap-looking. Shipping took a while (and some mental gymnastics with translations 😂), but saved a good amount overall. If you’re doing a reno and want to stretch your budget without compromising on look or function, Taobao is worth checking out.
