We do not have a dedicated study room in our home as both the husband and wife are in a profession that doesn't allow us to work from home. #sadlife đ We built a half-height wall & a ledge behind the sofa in the living room for multi-purpose: work area when needed, extra dining space, chill area. We see ourselves using our computers in this space multiple times. So, I guess the design work out really well? Haha. This area is also very well-lit with natural light as it is located beside the window. The long ledge, with the long bench, can sit 2 pax comfortably with ample space. We also placed our bladeless fan from Taobao beside the table for backup when the weather is crazy hot. We also made sure we catered electrical sockets below the ledge so that we could use our computers and fans. After we are tired from working on the computer, the Nine N recliner chair is the best place to lounge and rest. The recliner chair has 5 angles and is super comfortable. đ The view while lounging on the recliner chair is the husband's fish which produces a very therapeutic water sound. We hope this provides inspiration for owners who do not have the luxury of working from home like us but yet have space at home to do some work when needed.
