Our dining area is just next to our living room and they share a 5 metre wall that we lime-washed ourselves. We decided on lime-washing as we thought the textures would elevate the otherwise plain area and it’s definitely a nice photo backdrop that our family and friends love! We chose a small 1.1 metre round dining table as we don’t have plenty of space, but still want the feeling of openness. And it’s mostly just the 2 of us dining at home so we think this size is perfect. The muuto pendant lamp is one of our favourite purchases - it adds softness and calm to our dining area 😌 We like the idea of mismatched chairs proposed by our ID as it adds contrast and interest. We knew we wanted 2 wooden chairs from Gamar furniture and 2 foldable ones that we can keep in our bombshelter if need be. Starting my day right with a cup of matcha latte by Mr White. We love hosting small groups for intimate conversations (and also because we are introverts). Our tiny dining table can fit 6 pax comfortablely and can squeeze up to 8 pax. Our family brought over a feast for Christmas! We’re not good cooks so we make simple meals or order in when we’re hosting. And when we are not dining or hosting, our furbaby takes over the dining table. Don’t worry, we always clean the table before we serve food!
