For those wondering if a trip to JB is worth it: šš¼ Prices are about 15-30% cheaper than Singapore šš¼ Worth it especially for cash & carry (avoid paying GST if items are less than $500 when spend >48 hours in Malaysia and $100 otherwise) šš¼ Can physically view and test quality of items (compared to purchases from Taobao) šš¼ Some offer on site warranty and delivery services for free or added cost šš¼ Most warranty involves returning to Malaysia (difficult to do so for electrical items) šš¼ If delivering, all incur additional levies and 9% GST *Non-exhaustive list of shops that we went and heard of but the options are endless!
