This is our service yard, which we aim to maximise the space for versatile, multi-purpose use. Our service yard is integrated with the kitchen and they share the same space. 
As our service yard receives the west sun, it currently serves as a space for laundry and a plant corner, where our plants get to bask in sunlight. 
We only need a washing machine for our clothes and typically hang them outside the window or on the drying rack provided by HDB. 
We store our vacuum robot here, with its bulky charging outlet hidden in the cabinets, and we specifically installed dedicated power plugs during the renovation for this purpose. 
Opposite the washing machine, we have a small plant corner and a discreet spot for our dustbin. That's all for our small service yard!
