Hello everyone! A little late to post here but super excited to share our 4-room BTO here on Communa! We've been staying here for slightly more than 2 years, and these photos you see are from when we just moved in.
Starting from the entryway, there is a full height walnut cabinet that is used to cover the household shelter, also providing extra storage for shoes and miscellaneous items.
As we host frequently, we knocked down the adjacent wall to the study to open up the living space. This allowed us to fit a huge 3.1m L shaped sofa, which seats up to 8 people!
Limewash was also done to add some textures, its been 2 years in and the finish still amazes us everyday. We love how the textures are emphasized when the downlight and cove light hits it.
Another angle of the TV area. We specifically chose The Frame Tv as it was matte, reducing glares from the window opposite.
Entrace of the kitchen is hidden behind a concealed door. Even though we do not cook much, we wanted a closed kitchen as we have had so much friends regretting their open kitchen due to the smell.
One of our favourite feature in the home (and super practical!), is the dry pantry beside the dining table.
This allowed for preparation of drinks as well as additional counters pace when having meals.
Our bedroom was inspired by hotels during our travels. We really wanted it to be a space where we can relax and unwind without much distraction.
The custom headboard/niche also elongate the room, making it look bigger than it is even with a king sized bed there.
