I find myself looking around our home a little differently — noticing what feels heavy, what feels unnecessary, and what still quietly supports us every day.
This year, our reset wasn’t about buying new furniture or chasing a fresh aesthetic.
It was about orientation.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped aiming for a perfectly tidy home.
The real goal is an easy-to-tidy-up home — one that doesn’t require constant effort to maintain, one that forgives mess, movement, and real life.
When a home is easy to reset, it becomes easier to live in.
We didn’t chase the latest decor or trendiest lamps.
The pieces we already have still work — and more importantly, they still bring us comfort. These are things we love, use daily, and don’t feel tired of yet.
There’s something grounding about letting go of the need to “update” just for the sake of it.
