When we first stepped into this unit, we entered through what is balcony on the floor plan - and immediately we knew! It had a high ceiling, unique windows, and the kind of natural light that made the whole space feel open and peaceful. That moment actually played a big part in why we chose this flat. In many Executive Apartments, the balcony is a standalone space. But in this top-floor resale unit, it led straight into the living room - and we knew we wanted to turn it into a welcoming entryway that still honoured the original charm.

Originally, our 3D renders included a built-in storage that was meant for our shoes, wallet, keys and bags. But with a tighter budget, we pivoted and made intentional choices.

The part that ties it all together? The custom shoe cabinet that curves and flows into the living room TV console, even though there’s a slight level drop. This design move helped us connect two zones with a single gesture - no harsh transitions, just smooth flow. This isn’t a “Pinterest-perfect” foyer. But it’s full of thought, light, and little decisions that reflect how we wanted to live in this home. 💡 Reflection Sometimes, the thing that makes a home feel right isn’t a grand room - it’s a single detail. For us, it was the balcony that became our entryway.
