Reno Regrets! Kitchen and Service Yard fails

Regret #1 We don’t have an overhead dish drying rack and this has led to our countertop looking perpetually cluttered. Since I cook 1 to 2 meals daily, the dish rack will always have something drying there throughout the day. Unless you are diligent enough to towel dry and keep your dishes after washing, I would not suggest having a counter top dish rack like mine! Regret #2 Should have made the upper cabinet with slightly more height, perhaps around 10cm more. Storage space is currently a little tight. Also, I’d probably go with closed cabinets in future as the open shelves contribute to the cluttered look in this area. 
Regret #3 We should have requested to change the door opening of our fridge to the right when we bought it! It simply didn’t cross our minds back then. Opening on the right is more accessible to and from the kitchen. 
Regret #4 Should have gotten our contractor to make a custom tabletop above the washing machine. The table would be useful for folding clothes or maybe even ironing.
