Besides our entryway, our home office is the most eye catching area of our home because of the glass window and glass blocks below 😍
The husband always proudly claims this idea as his 😂, and to be fair, it is! So we’ll get into how we decided to do this up during our renovation process 🔨🧱
This is the original view of the bedroom before we knocked down the wall and the cabinet to make space for the window panel and glass blocks! 🫧
At this point we had decided to merge a common room together with the original master to form an L shape bedroom and thought this space at the door would be perfect for us to convert into a home office.
Because we consulted a Fengshui Master, we had to move our study table - which we had planned to be right below the window panel - to where it is in this picture.
Apparently it’s not good for people to come in through the main door and look at you head on when you’re sitting there but sideways is okay 🤷🏻♀️ it wasn’t a big deal to us so we just shifted the table.
We also had a partition built to kind of “cocoon” in the office and create a separate walk in wardrobe behind! This also blocks guests from looking into our changing area so it was a huge plus!
This is the view from the inside which allows us to watch over the cats when we do work inside the home office… though funnily and ironically enough, nothing goes according to plans when you have cats… and all the cats go into the master bedroom with us so yeah nothing to look out at 😂
The window and glass blocks still serve as a nice way to bring in extra light to the home though versus one wall so STILL A YAY!!
And that’s how we got our home office♥️
