Welcome to our rendering vs reality post! We chose marble at first but then we realised that we like it plain and its easier for us to see the dirts. Probably in a few years time if we got of plain we could just do an overlay perhaps? This is the 3D renders. 
This is the reality. 
As we mentioned in the previous posts, we love to move around things. So sometimes we move the kitchen island along with the bar chairs or we move it out of the kitchen fully when we spend time in the kitchen longer.

As we reiterate, it feels good that we can change & play around with this space at any time. All thanks to the movable kitchen island.
