Reconfiguring the space for my toddler

We used to have a little nook right behind our living area for us to watch the tree, read a book, and enjoy a cup of coffee. Those days are not distant memories...
Mid last year, we had our baby and immediately this place had to be reconfigured into a baby play area. The first thing we did was to search for a playpen! Lucky for us, someone on carousell was giving away this great condition Farska Playpen.
We then also started looking for suitable play mats. I.e. something that matches the overall aesthetic of our place. These Eva foam terrazzo playmats pieces were god-sent! They are not only really pretty, but they come in puzzle pieces. We can easily reconfigure it if we want to put this mat somewhere else, or we can easily change out pieces that were in bad conditions! So much more portable vs parklon or lollibaby playmats.
We also then got this Flisat book case for free from carousell! We love that it is small and short, making it accessible for our kid to pick out her favorite book. Parenthood has truly made us resourceful.
