Our house has a mixture of all: Real plants, faux plants, preserved and some “needles”, well I mean cactus. Cactus plants are generally low-maintenance, requiring little water to survive which make them an excellent choice for indoor garden. 
We also have some preserved bouquets around the house. This is one of them which hold special meaning for us as it is our wedding bouquet. 
Faux plants are great in the washroom which are generally more humid than other areas. 
Another area with a flask of preserved flowers. Baby breath work the best for us. We usually get a 1-2 stalks from the wet market which only cost us a dollar or two. We are still growing our plants corner in the house, be it real, faux or preserved. All are welcome.
