Hi everyone! I'm back with a new post, this time about my green corner(s). While I love real plants, the realities of my busy schedule and the low-light environment of my home have led me to incorporate a mix of real and faux plants throughout my home. In the picture above, you can see my favorite plant - a rain tree I bought from @jungalore! It's housed in a cement pot, which promotes better air circulation and helps prevent root rot. I give it a full soak every 2 days, at night when the weather is cooler! It's also fascinating to watch its leaves close in the evening and open again with the sunrise…

This is my chilli padi plant 🌶️ which I water daily! It's incredibly convenient to pluck a fresh chilli whenever I need one. 😊 I get a good amount of morning sun at the corridor in front of my entrance, making it the perfect spot for my chilli padi to thrive!

The Ficus Elastica, or Rubber Fig, is a fantastic beginner-friendly plant! It’s perfectly okay with once-a-week watering, making it low maintenance for new plant parents. While it enjoys sunlight, it can also tolerate lower light conditions well.   And my Maneki Neko says hi! (Black ones can helps to ward off bad luck!)

This is my Asparagus Fern from @jungalore, a truly beautiful plant with gorgeous foliage (It needs a trim soon I think!). I water it directly into the soil once every three days at night, but it also enjoys a daily misting!

This is the little succulent I got from HipVan. It's still thriving and as furry as ever! It drinks a very small cup of water every 2 to 3 weeks!

Once we step inside the house, where the light tends to be softer, you'll find a mix of faux plants and cute plant ornaments throughout. I love how they soften the overall feel of my home! I bought this faux leafy branch from Shopee. My primary goal was to disguise the unsightly switches which it does quite effectively. While it might not completely conceal them, it definitely makes the area more pleasant to look at!

I got these faux wheat stalks from Daiso ages ago, and I haven't been able to find a similar one since! I love how it gently softens the dining area without overpowering the space.

Here’s even more garlands used as decor on my bookshelves, with flameless candles interspersed among them to add a touch of romantic ambiance! That's all for the green tour in my home! It’s still a growing plant family and I look forward to having more additions in my home in the future! If you have any questions or thoughts, please feel free to leave a comment below. I'd love to hear from you! Until my next post, see ya!
