Rule of thumb, we do not use white lights at home. It’s always warm lights only. 
While searching for a sofa, we wanted one that fit into this 2.2m wide wall space that the previous owner used as tv wall. YS fell in love with this Owen sofa the moment he sat down on the display piece at Castlery’s showroom. 
We chose blinds because of the versatility. Also cause C is reluctant to wash full length curtains 
Cove lights are our go-to choice of lights to turn on daily. But we also have down lights if we need to brighten the room up. 
Having a really long tv console gave us space to decorate. We repurposed the frame we used as decoration for our wedding and displayed it in our living room. This was just one of our favourite photos by our talented wedding photographer. ;) 
Having florals or plants adds a soft touch to the space, we preferred dried florals to fresh florals due to low maintenance 
Our living room is really minimal so as to keep the space wide and clean, we opt for no coffee table so we always have the option to sprawl out on the floor 
Our next favourite item in the living room has got to be our 75 inch tv. Perfect for binge watching dramas, soccer match; and recently as we realised, live stream concert experience.
