If you guessed bomb shelter, you’re right! We requested for this door to hide the bomb shelter. There’s storage space on the right and left of the door too, so those areas are not wasted. We also put our magnets on the bomb shelter door instead of the fridge, so that the kitchen looks less cluttered.

At the corner of the corridor/ near the master bedroom door, we placed a motion sensor. This motion sensor is programmed to switch on the corridor lights whenever it senses motion, between 8.30pm – 7am! This is so that we don’t have to fumble to switch on the lights if we want to head to the kitchen in the middle of the night for some water. IG: @robertslewzaijia
