Welcome to my new favorite part of our home! This nursery is everything that I've dreamt of, and it is a constant work in progress as I find myself changing things up as our baby grows older to suit her needs. You might notice that most furniture we have in this room is from IKEA, as we like that it's affordable and versatile. Quick Tip for FLISAT desk, you may consider changing the FLISAT desk legs to the stool legs if your baby is not tall enough 😉 
The room is mostly decorated with neutral colours but I've also added in elements that gives the warm vibes. To make our HEMNES drawers have a cuter outlook to match the nursery, we changed the drawer knobs to these cute little star knobs. 
While planning the nursery design, one of my first ideas was to DIY paint a scallop design on one of the walls. However, I wasn't sure if I had the energy or perseverance to see the project through during my pregnancy. Hence, I decided to go with customising a wall decal for the feature wall, which turned out way more fuss-free and aesthetically pleasing. 
We love to put things on floor level so the baby can easily reach out for toys and books that interest her. We also bought storage baskets to fit the KALLAX shelves to keep the bulk of toys so that the mess is out of sight. 
Can we take a moment to bask in this golden hour in the nursery? 😍 We've also ordered some new pieces of furniture and decor items for this room, and we can't wait to show you more when it all comes together!
