In this post we will be sharing some of our reno regrets. We have already covered some of these in the previous posts, so we will not be repeating again. Be sure to check those out!
The first one is actually getting a smaller secondary sink on the island (as compared to our primary sink). Bigger is better ๐ As it allows you to wash larger things easily - like our chopping board is huge and cannot fit in this sink, or we have to tilt at a certain angle but its heavy as hell for some reason ๐จ
We do not want to enclose our common shower so we only did a hollow block wall beside the sink. However water still splashes really easily to the area beside the toilet bowl, even when its just simply washing our legs ๐ฐ
And we have to be extra careful since our washlet is connected to electricity, although it is technically splash resistant. So we donโt shower here but at the master toilet as its bigger in size and at least nowhere near our toilet bowl.
The common shower floor tile is also somehow kind of slippery. This tile was selected by our ID and he did show us sample but perhaps we didnโt take much notice. But not a big issue since we donโt shower there.
The master floor tile is instead too rough ๐ Definitely not slippery but it can be a bit hard to use our Dyson vacuum here, although it still works. Instead the Dyson works so well on the common toilet floorโฆ LOL so I canโt decide which is better
Only noticed this after we started cooking - the hood already comes with white light which we tend to use when cooking. Not a big issue but actually there might not even be a need to install LED strip here if you want to save cost!
