Our lights: Movie Nights to Mediterranean Vibes

Hello from @_firstoctober! This is our go-to setup for movie nights: overhead lights off, side lamp on, maybe an extra little light thrown in for good measure. And always a candle for the cozy vibes. 
In the daytime, our living room is filled with natural light. We intentionally chose curtains that aren't fully blackout, allowing soft, diffused light to filter through and create a warm and inviting glow. 
It casts some pretty cool shadows at night! 
In the bedroom, we’ve placed a standing lamp. 
It gives off an ambient glow while we wind down. It’s also practical: if one of us needs to wake up early, it gives just enough light to get dressed without waking the other. 
Lastly, our favourite lights are the hallway lamps. They bring in a lovely Mediterranean touch to our home. We stumbled upon these lamps while travelling, but by then, all the electrical work for our new home had already been completed. So we improvised with rechargeable bulbs, so no rewiring was needed!
